absolutely amazing that we got away with young. a couple days ago jay bilas had james young picked at 8. 8! that was higher than most but it was a prediction but ESPNs headlining draft specialist so it was a worthy one. his ceiling by some is Michael Redd, not too shabby for 17

Michael Redd would be great. I'm not sure if he can, but if he develops that quick release that Redd has, oh boy oh boy.

I've always been high on Young and was very surprised to see him drop to 17.

I like the Redd comp. because at best that's what Young could turn into. The potential is there. Length, natural shot, athleticism, aggressiveness

I was hoping that more questions would be answered...like whats happening with Rondo. Marcus Smart is not as effective as a sg. IDK i just wanted the rondo trade speculation to end, but now we draft a pg so it will linger.

Smart has played a ton of 2-guard before. He was a SG in HS then came to OKST and played PG a lot his frosh year but last year we saw a lot of markell brown at the 1 and smart at the 2 and it worked out just fine.

I think Rondo-Smart can work

Yeah, I wouldn't mind Redd at 17.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Michael Redd @ 17 minus the injuries :)

now THAT is a solid pick late in the 1st round

Love James Young but a part of me wanted to see Shabazz Napier in green and no in black and red...

I love a hometown hero story :(

I'm sure I'll warm up to Smart and Young tomorrow but I'm still disappointed we didnt get to swing a Love deal or get Embiid.  >:(

I was a HUGE advocate for Love and still am...

I think we have the assets for him still. His value in a trade was killed tonight by flip bailing.

Just resign AB, then send AB + Sully OR Oly + 2 future 1sts and that should do it for Love.

Rondo/Smart/Pressey
Smart/Young/
Green/Young/Wallace
Sully OR Oly/Bass/Hump
Love/Hump/Fav

I like that team with a doable trade and young core

I would love that, heck I'd even give up both Oly and Sully for Love

Rondo/Smart/?/Love/?

just start filling in the blanks
