He did 8/5 last year as a rook, who admittedly, at times looked completely lost.
Given how last year went, that's pretty meaningless in and of itself.

There have been plenty of players in the league who have been outstanding despite lack of elite athleticism.

Tim Duncan
Paul Pierce
Larry Bird
Marc Gasol
Zach Randolf
Andre Miller
Steve Nash
Chris Mullen
Steve Smith
Kevin Love
Carmello Anthony

Just to name a few, many others out there.

Olynyk doesn't to become a superstar or an all time great.   If he can be a good starter (say, a 18/9/3 guy)  then Danny should be worshipped for picking him up so low.   Honestly,  I think he has the potential to put up those type of numbers without much trouble.

His improvement last year was so dramatic that I too have hopes of him rounding into a starter. I was ready to see KO go in a deal for Love, but since that apparently isn't happening, I'd love to see this year how much of a keeper he might be.

I keep saying I don't wanna include Olynyk in a trade for love but people seem to think I'm crazy.

I don't want Love at all.
In six years he couldn't lead the Wolves to the playoffs once.
He isn't worth max money.

I've also made that argument to friends but they all say the same thing "He's on the Wolves they aren't good, blah blah blah"

Not worried

I highly doubt we have to trade Sully or KO

I think the Love deal is DOA..far as Celtics go

I think we take Vonleh or Gordon ...maybe Exum

Rondo sizes up the situation

He makes a choice .

We go from there.

Love is no Kevin Garnett.

Love is no KG but he's a definite upgrade over what we have at the 4 and 5 right now.

And I say that as someone who doesn't want him in Boston.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Keep the picks and trade Rondo.

I don't know why people are so eager to trade KO and Sullinger.

They are good and cheap.

I'm with you, though the fact that they are good and cheap is exactly why they have trade value.

Better if we can trade Green and Rondo.

They are expensive and not so good.
