I dunno how we could get into the top 3, but if we did I doubt we'd go for Love

If you had a top 3 pick in this draft would you give it up for #6 + filler?

If we had a top 3 pick and someone was offering that? Abso-****-lutely.

#17 in this draft is like #10 in most drafts and Brooklyn 2016 is quite possible, maybe even likely a lotto.

Using the same notion, the top 4 guys in this draft would all go #1 in most other NBA drafts, which makes the 2nd, 3rd and even 4th picks even more valuable than normal.

I don't rate Wiggins as highly as most do so I'd consider something like Boston's 6th pick + Minnesota's 13th pick + 2 future Brooklyn picks for #3 pick.

Or I'd give up #3 for Boston's 6th+Minny's #13 AND Minny's 2015 first rounder which is basically guaranteed top 5 if they trade Love in this scenario.

Even then it would be hard to give up without bringing all 3 players in and testing them medically and challenging potential problems I see in their development to see it with my own eyes. If all 3 passed the test then probably not.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

I'd guess the minimum is one unprotected future first to move up one spot, so #6 plus Clippers pick plus two Brooklyn picks might get you into the top three, but you may have to give up a bit more on top of that.
