Here is my Championship contending team!

I think this team bring us the closest to being a championship contending team with a good balance of offense and defense!

- Lin + Asik + #25 pick <FOR> TPE + our other non garanteed (Bogan, babb, etc)
- Korver <FOR> S&T Bayless + Anthony + #25 pick and phila 1st that can turn into 2nd rounders
- Love <FOR> #6 pick + Sully + can switch 2015 picks with Cs + Clippers 2015 + Celtics 2016 + S&T Humphries
- Draft Warren with #17 pick
- use 3rd stringers to adjust salaries if/when needed...

Asik Olynyk Faverani

Almost everthing is covered with such a line up!

Defense : Rondo Bradley Wallace Bass ASik

This is doable!
And if they mesh and quickly learn to play together to their full potential and are healthy,
I think this team can contend for a championship!!!

Salivating thinking about this play :
Rondo with the ball ready to drop dimes,
Korver running off a first screen from Asik along the baseline (Asik then rolls to the basket)
Then a second screen from Love (who pops to the 3 point line)
Korver is then ready for is patented 3pt stroke of screens
with Green on the weak side corner ready to catch and shoot from his favorite corner or fake and drive for a loud posterizing dunk...!!
SOOOOO MANY options on such a play including rondo penetrating while the play develops...

I do think a Korver type of player deadly shooter off screens fits better this team  than let's say a carmelo for example. ...

I think our SG rotation is pretty weak. I want Korver and Bradley both off the bench which is not possible, one of those will leave. Maybe someone like Affalo and have either Korver or Bradley back him up.

And is that lineup feasible in terms of salary cap

I think Wallace can defend the bigger SGs and avery the smaller ones... I think there are a lot of flexibility with such a line up...
we wont need to be under cap to acquire those players since all of them are obtained via trades. ...
I think Korver would better fit Rondo and Asik than say a Carmelo who would need Rondo and asik to spread the floor for him to operate... Korver on the other will perfectly fit with asik and his screens and rondo and his perfect passes for off screens and catch and shoot situation....
we saw a few big name all star teams fail and its simply because of bad fit...
I think Korver fits Rondo and Asik perfectly just like a glove!
the question is would atlanta be in for such a trade..?
