Other salaries would have to be thrown as filler in to satisfy trade rules.
The basic germ of the deal would be Kevin Love to Boston, Jeff Green to Detroit, and Josh Smith to Minnesota. The #6 pick also goes to the Timberwolves. The Celtics also send another first somewhere, but I am not sure which team, probably to Detroit. Depending on the other pieces involved, a third pick or one of Sullinger/Olynyk could be involved.
For Minnesota, they get a guy who they can pretend is a star and who helps address their defensive issues in the front court. Plus, he's locked into a contract for a while, so he can't leave for a while. Detroit gets a guy who is a better fit at SF next to Monroe and Drummond.
I'm not sure if it makes sense to try and snag Chase Budinger from the T-Wolves to fill the hole left by trading Green. Maybe asking Detroit for Kyle Singler would make more sense as a stop-gap starter while the Celtics try to find a long-term solution. The Celtics could also use the MLE to address the need for a starting SF.
