Clearly the answer to this coach player reunion question is NOT Pitino-Walker

Don't forget Walter and Mercer, and probably Wayne Turner.
Check me if I am wrong on this but I think Pitino only recruited Mercer to Kentucky but left and never coached him there.

Mercer was on the '96 championship team that Pitino coached.

Sabonis / Brand / A. Thompson / Oladipo / Brunson

I would hope there is more than just a trade for Asik, sorry but he isn't that good.  Not sure what all the fuss is over him.  Whatever Ainge decides to do lets just hope that the Lakers don't draft ahead of us.  Are luck is horrible with the lottery and I expect us to get anywhere from 6-8th pick.  If this is the case you can rest assure the pick will be traded.  I really don't see any free agent/trade that could make us contenders.  Love won't, Melo won't come here, not sure who else is a free agent that is worthy.  No superstar will be traded to us, only hope is that whoever we draft becomes a stud in 3 or 4 years, but by then Rondo will be either gone or past his prime. Hate to be all negative but I really think this will all play out.

Predictions:

6-8 draft pick this year
Rondo signs elsewhere
Asik isn't that good if we get him or not
No franchise player will come here
