I must say, I was a big fan of GG when he played here, and always thought that Doc messed with his head.  I finally gave up on him, and was not surprised when he was just a thrown in on the KG trade.  I am now very happy to read that he has become a real player, through hard work. He did not get here except the hard way.  Has shown great mental toughness. Way to go, Gerald.

God knows everyone loves a redemption story. I mean hey, he finally made it, great, but I don't understand the idea that he deserves a lot of praise for playing hard and developing his game 10 years later on his 6th (?) team. I guess if you get 20x chances to grow up, with the reward being millions of $$ every time, you eventually might.
