What's your dream summer scenario?

I'd like like to see us land either Wiggins, Embiid or Parker.

I'd like to see Boston sign Paul Pierce with the vet minimum.  He'd be a great mentor for the youths... especially if we get Parker/Wiggins.  He'll be an excellent player off the bench.


I'd like to see KG retire and join the Celtics as an assistant coach... perhaps focused on developing the bigs (Sully, KO, Embiid?) or focusing on defense.  I think this is a long shot.  Alternatively, I'd like to see him fake an injury for a few months, get bought out of his contract and join Boston's bench.

I want us to hang onto Rondo.  He's our leader.  He's the bridge between eras.

I'd be in favor of trading for Asik if he's available for Bass.  If his defense is everything it's hyped up to be, he'll have a big impact.

If a superstar becomes available (like Kevin Love/Melo), I'd like to see us trade some future picks and expendable contracts to bring him on board.

If he looks good during the playoffs and we have some cap space (or MLE)... use it on Greg Oden.  He's my favorite non-Celtic to root for.  His per-36 numbers are great.  He'll be an interesting story to follow during the playoffs, because he's an unrestricted free agent this summer.

Lebron James opts out of his current contract and forces a S&T to Boston.

We then acquire Asik with the Pierce trade exception.

We do both of these without giving up our 2014 1st or Rondo & Sully.

Here's my dream scenario (at least dream scenario that could actually happen).

We get the number one pick.

LAL makes a panicked deal where we get there 1st rounder (select Exum) as well as future picks.

Ainge finds a good prospect with the BKN pick.

We are able to move Green and/or Bass for either young player or a pick.
