NBA free agent-to-be Danny Granger is scheduled to have phone conversations with the Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers and the Chicago Bulls on Thursday, a source told Yahoo Sports. Yahoo! Sports -

So it looks like it is going to come down to the Heat, Clips, Spurs, Rockets and Bulls. I like the idea of Granger going to the Spurs because they spread the minutes and will give him more playing time. Plus, a Spurs/Pacers Finals is realistic and I think that would be an interesting story-line.

Depends are they going to play him? If so probably the Heat, he's been bad enough he'd hurt them.

If he's just a break in case of glass option, the Spurs/Clippers.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
Clips seem the most reasonable, plus Granger would immediately start at SF, and wouldn't need to back up Kawhi Leonard once he comes back from his injury.

Is the glass half-full or half-empty?
It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

Clippers. He will be useful/appreciated there, might even stay long term.

Bulls would be my #2, except I know it won't be a good situation for him there because they are cheap.

Someone needs to make a sig of the cast of Shameless with the owners and executives of the 76'ers faces photoshopped over the regular actors.

I would HATE to see Granger go to the Heat.

And this isn’t a case of me hating on the Heat.  Didn’t really care when they signed Greg Oden, wouldn’t really bother me if they signed Caron Butler, etc.

But I LOVED the intensity I saw Granger bring against the Heat in a heated 6 game battle in 2012.

I’m always so disappointed when players go team up with their hated rivals.

Hated when Ron Artest joined the Lakers after an intense playoff battle in 2009.

Hated when Ray Allen joined the Heat after the C’s battles with Heat (and LeBron) over the years.

Don’t sell out and go to your rival.  Go to whoever has the best chance of taking out your rival.

As Clayton Bigsby would say, "If you have hate in your heart, let it out."

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

1. Clippers
2. Rockets
3. Nets

LeBron's broken nose is just such an amazing story line these days. What would ESPN & co do if LeBron got a new teammate down the stretch? Broken nose + new teammate = too many stories to handle.

+1.....could you ever see Bird in purple and gold or Magic in green?...it's unnatural

I hope he goes to anyone but the Heat or the Spurs.

Never liked the Spurs because they got (Duncan) who we shoulda got. (Yah, that's pretty base, and puerile and petty, but that's how I feel.

My dislike for the Spurs was intensified last year when Leonard (free throw miss) and the brilliant Pop handed the O'Brien trophy to the Heat on a platter. Truly sickening that Leonard gave Judas the chance to be a hero. PUKE.
