Per the Toronto Sun.

How about:

Rondo
Green

For

Lowry
Ross
Salmons
2014 & 2015 first round picks

Works on the trade machine...

If Ainge sees Ross as to be a guy to build around, that makes this trade a lot more likely.

What about this deal:

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=nx5knod

NYK gets: Kyle Lowry
TOR gets: Rondo, Jeff Green
BOS gets: Felton (necessary filler), Cole Aldrich (necessary filler), T. Ross, Hardaway Jr., Toronto 2014 1st, Ability to swap 1sts with Toronto in 2016 (need to look at a couple of details there... NYK's pick or TOR's pick basically), NYK 2018 1st (Top 10 protected)

Makes some sense for all, IMO.

Make them take Wallace, re-route Lowry to Knicks. Get Derozan and picks.

Boston gets:

Amare
Shumpert
Derozan
Raptors 2014 pick
Knicks 2016 pick (from Toronto)

Knicks get:

Fields
Salmon
Vitor
Lowry

Raptors get:

Bogans
Rondo
Wallace

Then maybe if Bobcats would do the Green/Bass for Gordon/Sessions deal, instead of getting the Portland pick from them, we could get the Detroit pick (hopefully in the 9-12 range) and give them either Toronto's pick (around 20) or the lesser of the Hawks/Nets , or both?

If Detroits pick is 10, I would think giving up 18 and 20 is worth getting it?  Would Charlotte want three picks in the 18-28 range though?

I don't see it for Toronto or Boston.

Terrence Ross, a guy to build around. I've seen it all now.

Stick around, there'll be worse to see.

Doesn't seem far off for Toronto if Ujiri wants to make a splash. I don't see Boston doing better than this, if they indeed are planning to trade Rondo (which is still the 64,000 dollar question).

As for NYK's piece, also not a given. I stole what they're giving up for Lowry from a trade idea one of their writers posted this morning in a "5 trades I'd like to see" article.

That's probably true, but that doesn't mean Anige has to take any of these bad deals. And yeah, all I've seen are very bad deals.

Rondo is the best player in this deal by far.

Green is probably the second best player in this deal.

I think this rumor is bogus, but I wanted to chime in to say that Lowry is a far better player than Green.

This.
