 We hit a home run and draft Embid first and Take James Young with our second pick. We tank one more year and draft two more high draft picks.

 Rondo resigns team friendly deal and then we sign 31 year Old Carmelo and 26 year old Klay Thompson to five year deals.

 So for about a five year span we feature

 Joel Embid
 Jared Sullinger
 Carmelo
 Klay Thompson
 Rondo

 With a decent bench and more picks on the way does this team win one or more titles?

Main issue is how long it'll take for Embiid to become a dominant player.

If it takes 3-4 years, Boston would miss most of their title window with Carmelo.

If all healthy then they're a great shot. Klay thompsons shooting and embids  defense would be key.

Nope I would bet cash Melo never wins one.  I would also bet he never ends up in green.   Just say no to the big east bias...
