Yeah, I was proud of that one. I was actually in LA for the finals for my cousins wedding. Wore that with pride, although I couldn't find tickets to go to an actual game

I'm from MA, but have lived in the DC area for the last few years, and this is my second year having Wizards season tickets.  They give away a bunch of stuff to season ticket holders, so I have a few warmup jackets and tshirts etc.

Don't worry, I'm in all green when the Celts are in town (as is half of the arena).

Maybe it's just me, but for some reason, I could never get myself to hate Kobe.

I could easily hate Lebron or Wade (Wade is actually my least favorite player) but I've always been very impressed with Kobe as a player.

I know he comes off as arrogant and full of himself but maybe it's his excellence on the court over the years (pre last season, when he started breaking down) that's the reason why I've never really disliked him.

Even during the 2010 finals, the one Laker that I really hated was World Peace because he was such a dink (and that lucky three pointer in game 7.)

Even Gasol got under my skin because of the trash talking to KG and the fact he got away with coming down with a rebound without bouncing the ball in game 7 as well.

But with Kobe, I just expected him to always be good and come up with the clutch plays.

I think you're at least in the minority.  doesn't matter who the player is, if they're in a Laker uniform, they're scum.  if it's the face of the Lakers, like Kobe, they're lifetime scum. 
I can acknowledge their skill (such as Magic in the 80's) but they're always scum.

The one exception I've made to that philosophy is Rick Fox who loved bying a Celtic and only went there because the C's recklessly kicked him to the curb

Yeah well, pp went to our country in 2003 or 2004 I think, he went to different universities and I am in college at that time. So when I heard he was going to our school I got the only Celtic stuff that I had which was a Toine Away jersey to have him autograph. He actually laughed about it and said "toine is my man. Keep supporting the celtics!"
