I think the bobcats are going to be buyers at the deadline. Maybe they'll be interested in Jeff Green. They send back Ben Gordon and the Wizards 1st round pick currently  projected 17th overall. Danny will probably try to package their 2nd and 3rd 1st round picks to move up and probably get to the 13th pick. Draft Jabari Parker and James Young. In addition to building through the draft, Danny will probably try to get rid of Avery Bradley because he isn't worth what he wants. Anyways, we start all of the young guys and give them alot of minutes so they can develop
Rajon Rondo
James Young
Jabari Parker
Jarred Sullinger
Kelly Olynk

Obviously we won't be that good right away but i believe the unit would have a lot of potential. Best case scenario, Jabari develops into a great scorer like Carmelo Anthony but less selfish, Jared Sullinger becomes the 18 and 10 guy everyone keeps saying he will, Kelly Olynk stops being so soft and becomes the offensive threat he can, James Young turns out to be a great pick at the 13th pick and has Michael Redd-like production....all of this with Rondo running the show

am i the only one who cringes when people list KO as our starting center?
No, I agree. If we want to be a contender, he is not a starting C or even in our 9 man main rotation

I don't think we trade anyone and if there is a trade it's Bass... JG for the $$ he gets hasn't impressed enough to get value and Hump is valuable as a future piece. We simply won't be able to move Wallace (would be great if we could get something of value for him though)

I just realized, if we trade away Rondo on draft day to get another pick (Exum), then we'll be something like this year's Sixer squad when they traded away Jrue for Noel (and a pick) and drafted the potential ROY in MCW :p just sayin.

A rookie led squad wont produce much in wins, especially once other teams stop tanking, but the future would look bright, especially if we secure another good rookie in next years draft and are able to make use of cap space. I think this would be a pretty viable way to rebuild.

Lilrip I dream of that scenario everyday. What scares me is if the lakers end up with a top 5 pick.....can we trade Rondo to them, maybe that would lead to a 100 year curse

Lets say we get the #1 overall and get embid, the we trade rondo green ko.. to get Jabari Parker

Embid
Sully
Parker
James Young/tj warren (draft with our 2nd first rd pick)
Pressey

That team would lose a lot of games but would have a very very very bright future. Also we would have a top pick in the next draft

I can see bass moved as he is the odd man out in pf spot and can help teams.  I think Bradley not signing makes his move very possible.  Hump as an expiriing makes his chances of going pretty good (I'd like to resign him at better contract price)
Can't predict any moves though, Ainge could be making a package to get love.  Bass, green,Bradley picks? Etc etc

I predict Wallace will not be traded!  I don't see Ainge trading him and huge contract if he has to give up an asset.  That contract isn't the type he'd be put into a deal to make money work.  Unlike bogans who I predict will be traded.

I think Hump is gone by the deadline for a just-as-costly player that has another year on their deal and a late first this year.  twist on it is we get 2 players back with at least one having 1 more year on their deal.  I could see Miami, Spurs, OKC or Indy giving that some thought--teams built to win this year that will have a very late first that doesn't figure to help them much.  then again, might be better to get that pick for 2016/2017 when those teams may be in a decline.

I could see either a Bass/AB for Asik deal or a Green/AB for (Asik/1st/future 2nd or Casspi or Brewer-->a SF to eat up some of Green's minutes behind Wallace) deal happening at the deadline as well-->would need 2 picks or pick/player coming back since this deal would help the Rockets depth quite a bit.

Whoever's left behind between Green and Bass will probably be moved in a draft day deal to either acquire a late 1st or combined with the Nets/Hawks pick to get into the lottery around the 11th or 12th pick.

Leaves us with a lot of young players, Rondo, Wallace and future picks.  Moving Wallace isn't a major concern since he becomes an expiring deal after next year when we may be able to swing a draft-day deal in 2015 to take on a longer contract with another 1st (or package Wallace and the Clips pick for a decent player on a longer deal that needs a change of scenery)
