awesome.  good to see that the team is keeping him.  listen if you can get a decent backup/rotation player for cheap who hustles and has good basketball iq, you do it.

the guy makes peanuts compared to everyone else and injuries are just a reality of the situation.  I doubt CJ is going to replace AB or JG but it's good to have nice cheap depth you can throw out there to soak up some minutes without having the guy being detrimental to the team.

PS even considering that he's making peanuts by NBA standards how many of you wouldn't mind pocketing 46 grand for 10 days of work?  :)  I know I wouldn't!

I wouldn't mind 40 large for a week and a half (gotta remember the agent gets a cut), but I don't know how many people would be so stoked on his lifestyle:

Quote
On September 28, 2012, he signed with the Los Angeles Clippers. However, he was waived by the Clippers on October 7. On October 9, he signed with the Orlando Magic. He was also waived by the Magic on October 27.[4]

On November 2, 2012, he was acquired by the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.[4] On January 23, 2013, he signed a 10-day contract with the Memphis Grizzlies.[5] He made his NBA debut the same day in a win over the Los Angeles Lakers.[6] On February 3, 2013, he signed a second 10-day contract with the Grizzlies.[7] On February 20, he returned to the Vipers.[4]

In September 2013, he signed with the Brooklyn Nets.[8] He was later waived by the Nets on October 26.[9] On November 1, 2013, he was re-acquired by the Vipers.[4] On January 17, 2014, he signed a 10-day contract with the Boston Celtics.[10]
(from wikipedia).

Lots of uncertainty, lots of short-term housing.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

But that's the type of guy we need around here. Someone that doesn't give up. I hope we sign him to a 2 year deal. He can stretch the D out for us and open up lanes for Rondo and Green.
