Chances are high that if someone takes Andrew Wiggins at number one, they'll be making a big mistake.  I have to think that Joel Embiid would be awfully hard to pass up as the number one pick.

Same was said about Greg oden.

True, but as far as I know, Embiid hasn't had any major health issues to date.

not a good comparison.  Bowie and Oden were known to have leg issues, especially Bowie moreso than Oden.  I haven't heard any health issues reported about Embiid.  kid could be Olajuwon-lite which would make whoever picks him pretty happy.

yes Wiggins would be a top defender even as a rookie... but going against the other post Wiggins has a much higher ceiling than Embiid... Embiid is a year older andf we havent even seen what Wiggins will do on an offensive level..

Joel Embiid is 19 years old and has only been playing basketball for 3 years i'm gonna go out on a limb and say he has a higher ceiling then Wiggins because wiggins has been playing his whole life. Not taking anything away from wiggins but Embiid is gonna be the best player in the country by the end of the year.

Mock drafts are basically meaningless.  That said I think both Wiggins and Embiid have a higher ceiling than Parker, Randle, or anyone else considered a top prospect.  I think one of them is likely to go first, and it'll depend on which team gets the pick.

I've said this before, but I really believe Wiggins will end up being the best NBA player in this class despite all the criticism he's been getting. The kid is still averaging 16 points so easily. I don't know why people expect him to go out there and score 30 points a game at 18 years old.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

I know they call it  a mock draft but at this stage it is a prospect ranking.

In the same way that this whole draft is now being underrated due to nitpickiness.   The same nitpickiness is being applied to  Andrew Christian Wiggins.

He will be the best player to come out of this draft.

Don't think Draftexpress updates that often.
it was updated yesterday at 7 pm.

That said they have the Bucks taking Wiggins that doesn't necessarily mean they believe Wiggins is the top prospect.

Actually it does, they state on their mock drafts that team needs are NOT taken into account.  This means that they have ranked him number one when compared to other prospects.  It does not matter which team has the number one pick.
well that is just silly as that isn't a mock draft.

Ultimately, I do think Wiggins will be number 1.  He hasn't been super impressive in college, but I think the team that gets the #1 will decide that his potential is just too great to pass on him.

I agree...they should change the name to PROSPECT RANKINGS.

19 rebounds is definitely impressive. If he tried harder and was more consistent, we definitely be talking about the next Durant/James

He wouldn't even need to figure out how to score 1 on 1. Just do everything else utilizing his athleticism

Parker definitely has the more polished offensive game, but Wiggins can play some serious D. I think people get lost in offense too often when projecting draft picks. Not saying I'd take Wiggins over Parker, but I'd keep in mind all the other things Wiggins does better than Parker.
