So, the Celtics have two winners of the Naismith Prep POY on the roster right now.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Everybody knew how talented Sullinger is coming out of that draft. But a lot was scared by his back problems (that's bulging disk to you Andy Katz).

At 21 (or 20), it should be a no brainer. And while he looks pretty awesome now, we still need to see how that back holds up. I mean the reports about his injuries came true last year. It got fixed and here's hoping it stays fixed. Other than that, we got a really talented player in the late rounds, which is indeed, a steal.
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.
PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace

In the name of continuing the really tenuous comparison this thread has been running on that Sully is amazing when his back holds out means we must be looking at Larry Bird 2.0

David West is the most apt player comparison I have seen/thought of...similar in size, body type, & skill set

Sky is Falling: Injuries take over
Worst Case: 12PPG/8RPG
Most Likely: 16/10
Best Case: 20/12

Assuming that his back holds up, I see Sully as a step below Kevin Love in his prime years.  If he can change his body type like Love did then he could be an all-star.  He is just a basketball player.  C's caught a major break when they got him.  I think in his prime years he will be a guy that averages 20/10.

I knew he would be good, but I did not expect this 3 point shooting he has done. that will really open up lanes for rondo and green.
LET'S GO CELTICS!
