I think they said there were something like 68 NBA executives at the game.  Every team has at least one person there.

There are upwards of 15 players being considered for the first round at those two games.  You'd be foolish to not be there as an NBA GM.
Danny is sitting next to Jabari Parker's mom

Serious?

They're both Mormons.  I wonder what will happen if Parker decides to go on a two-year Mormon mission after this season.

I thought it was a joke in reference to Danny being fined  back in 06-07 when he sat next to Durant's mom.

LOL Danny has to lay off the players' moms!

I wouldn't read much into this.

Like others said, Ainge is just doing his due diligence as a GM.

Maybe he was looking for a certain restaurant to have dinner and he ended up at the Classic by accident.

Him and a reported 68 NBA scouts.

I'm still convinced we're not tanking per se.

Here's the thing:

I think Danny bought as cheap as he could without gathering rubbish personnel. This means we are left with two possible results:

1) The personnel performs above expectations; WIN because you can trade them for great returns
2) We perform as crap as we spent, and thus end up with a high draft pick.

In case of the former, it means we'll have better assets to trade up with.

In the end, either of them will have us picking somewhere in the top 5, and thus it's smart for DA to do his homework.

I don't want to see the Celtics tank, but at the same time I don't see how playing well will get us a top five pick.  If the Celtics play above expectations, the assets we have don't suddenly turn into a top 5 pick, unless maybe Rondo is included.

It's a done deal. Sources say that Parker's mission will involve providing humanitarian aid to under-privileged NBA teams from the greater Boston area.

I would be dissapointed if we don't land a top 5 pick in this draft..with our role players maybe all we need is a stud top draft pick..think of next year being

Rondo
Parker
Green
Sullinger
Olynyk

That's a pretty solid young team
