Some have said against teams that have real front court threats we will be in trouble. Already we have lost to memphis and detroit.

The difference now imo is that the team is playing better team d and sully and oly (who play sig mins) are playing with confidence. In addition our offense is amazing right now

Still it wont be easy when we play the teams above one after another soon. And even if we lose all the games, as long as we keep it close we are going heading into the right dirction. IF and a big IF we win 3 out of 4 ,i would feel a playoff birth isnt out of a question. And then who knows

good points above, and they fit with other posts on other threads.

this celtics team has hustled and executed themselves into a .500 record on mostly a soft schedule. GOOD!!! i would rather they do that than work like crazy and be 0-8.

having said that, i am sure they cant continue to shoot 60%+ in games and when they meet good defenses we will see the warts on this team. that too is fine since i have such low expectations.

what i really like most about this team so far is not the win-loss record. it is how well they execute, how much they hustle, and how fun they are to watch.

during the past few years games were stressful and the team was predictable and not all that good. this year, i enjoy the games, i dont know what stevens is cooking up next, and they are not good but they are fun to watch.

i want to watch the young players develop and do well. i think the supporting cast of the celtics next championship run are on board already. only 2 great players and they can contend. i like what i see and dont care about losses this year.

I'd be happy to get one of those games, nasty stretch. Houston is struggling somewhat so maybe them. But the rest, ouch.

Friday's game against Portland won't be a picnic either.  I'd like the C's chances much more against Minny if it wasn't the second game of a back-to-back where we'd just flown halfway across the country.  Only saving grace is that the TWolves are in Denver Friday night.

Minny and Houston serving as apetizers for Spurs and Pacers ;D

this will be a good learning experience for our young team and looking forward on how Stevens will adjust the lineup

Bold Prediction:
We'll win against Minny
Houston will murder us in 3pts
We'll see in our eyes the battle of the Greens. Spurs will be spurs and will win while Duncan is resting on his rockingchair.
Lastly we'll gonna break Pacer's winning streak

Yeah, 1-3 would probably be OK given that lineup.  2-2 would be great, and anything better would be nearly unbelievable.

We will prob see more fav and humphries in these grind out kind of games. Im expecting these teams to feed endlessly to pekovic, hibbert, duncan, howard.

Celtics  cant afford to get sukked in to this strategy. If we keep running these guys(excep howard) will tire out. Good test for oly and sully vs these teams.

Very strange predictions...

If anything I can see Minny murdering us in 3 pts
We'll pull a strange win over the Rockets with Harden going 7-19, and Howard having 15+ boards, but only converting on 10 on them.
Spurs will rock us as Duncan rocks in his rocking chair.
Pacers will beat us, but it'll be very close.

I will be ecstatic with one win against any of them.

after that a couple of close games would be great.

I think a blowout loss in a couple of games could be damaging. It will be interesting to see the team and coaching staff reaction if that happens.

I want to see these guys scrapping and holding their heads high no matter what.

The upcoming schedule definitely looks tough.  This is why I see this Bobcats game at home on Wednesday as a big game for us.  I'd much rather see them head into this stretch one game above .500 than one game below.

If we can beat the kittens and maybe steal one of the above mentioned four games, we would be 6 and 7 after the Pacers game.  I would take that.
