I think so far this draft class is showing exactly what everyone thought they would, that being, that there would probably be 1-3 good overall pros(maybe someday an All-Star appearance but not much more than that), a bunch of players that would eventually be good rotational type players and a whole bunch of nothing else.
Also, I think most are showing what I expected, that being that they wouldn't be making an impact this year. This was just an overall poor draft class, like the 2000 draft class was.
There will be a ROY, probably between MCW and Oladipo, but they won't be a Lebron, Chris Paul, Kevin Durant, or Derrick Rose quality ROY. They will be more like a Mike Miller, Tyreke Evans, Emeka Okafor ROY quality type.
I think in the long term this could also be like the 2006 draft of having 3-4 or so really good players then a huge gap in quality and then the rest of the players.
Sometimes the draft prognosticators get it wrong but in this case, this year, I think they really did get it right.
