They are 3-0. i know it's early, but after declaring they would sit their first round pick and trading away their best player, it sure is funny how they have come out to play.  Crazy game.

Traded him for someone not even playing.

Still, I never believed in Jrue Holiday. He was very unimpressive in NBA 2k13, and that is how I evaluate guys.

It's because they want to win, despite the lack of elite talent (i start to question this too, MCW is looking elite).

They maybe losing the tanking battle, but they are earning a ton of respect right now. Their players are being confident and is showing their potential.

We should learn from them.

Told anyone that would listen that Nerlens and Carter Williams were the two guys you wanted to get in this last draft. Philly got both of them. They have played together for years in the summer and are good friends. Watch out for them and this Philly team in the future.

I'm interested to see if this is a 3 game fluke or if Turner, Young, and Hawes are actually going to put it all together at the same time.  Each of those guys is very talented and has played really well for short stretches in the past.

MCW is obviously outperforming all expectations.  We'll see if he hits a wall like Brandon Jennings or if he's the real deal like Lillard was last year.

The thing about this early run for the Sixers is that a huge component of it seems to be that those 4 core guys are all shooting really well.  In the past, the issue for this team (and the knock on MCW coming out of school) was the inability to shoot from outside.

Either way, as long as those core guys are actually playing well together, the Sixers are far better than expected.  They have a lot more talent in that group than the Celtics have, that's for sure.

You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Not sure I'd be ready to proclaim anything definitive on MCW just yet but it does look really good so far.

As for Noel, it's impossible to say anything whatsoever.  He's injured and may not even play this year.  Personally my money is on him being a relative bust.  He'll be  likely good, but nothing special.  All athleticism, no skill.  Anthony Davis he is not.  Noel really needs to work on his game.  We'll see.

I don't see him doing anything. Is he 100 ponds even when wet?
