Call me crazy but I would rather have Pressey, Fav and Babb on the roster rather than Brooks and Crawford.

Yeah, but I wouldn't mind having Crawford on the bench.  I really don't like Brooks.  Brooks' ball handling is terrible!  At least it was last night.

who is this babb guy!! he shoots better than Courtney LEE

That's not say n much

Biggest issue so far is Green,  we need a 15 and 6 from him every night .

Wallace is more likely to deliver 15 and 6--and more defense, effort and passing--than Green.

I like Green coming off the bench until he forces his way into the starting lineup again.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
My full intake from the game is this...

1) Keep Vitor as the starting Center, let KO come off the bench. Vitor is worth every penny for how he played last night. If he can really get his stuff together, I can see him averaging 10 points and 6 rebounds with .09 BPG. Which is still great considering he's only getting paid 2 million a year. Let KO come off the bench, and help out with the 2nd unit, or at least let him gain some confidence playing against a weaker unit. He seemed very nervous out there. I think him scoring more will boost his confidence. Or KO as C for small ball.

2) Pressey? What else can I say that I haven't said? This guy deserves the back up PG. I'm sorry but Avery? He really doesn't cut it. Even when they made a mistake, Pressey rushed immediately back on defense interrogating and agitating the defense. You don't see that kind of hustle or heart except from Wallace, who in his entire career has been known as that hustle and heart guy. This guy looks calm, and collected. AB just looks nervous even dribbling the ball down half court.

3) For those blaming Brooks, I do think his defense is horrible. But have you seen his defense before on the Nets? It was a lot worse, people on Nets blog would complain saying even Kobe was a great defensive player. But he made some smart decisions, and was disciplined. I like how Brad Stevens is telling every player to make smart shots. I do think he should've been the one to take the final shot though. It looked like he could've definitely made it.

4) Chris Babb deserves to be on the roster. I think Courtney Lee, and Bass has really worn out their welcome. Their just redundant, especially with Sullinger, KO, and Faverani showing to be a decent roster. Chris Babb can replace Courtney Lee, and Lee deserves to at least contend on a team. Maybe we can throw Lee for a potential 2nd round pick from any team willing to bite. But Babb was on fire!

I pretty much agree at this point, though I think we've got to see how Fav and Sully work as a pair. KO clearly needs some time to get his feet wet and adjust, but he's a smart player, so it may not be long. I think a start for the JS/KO/GW trio is in order, maybe after KO has a couple more games under his belt.

Really, I think there will be a lot of frontcourt players getting 20-25 minutes a night for the first couple of months, regardless of who starts.

  • No no no, not THAT "Eric M Van".
Just an impression...watching Bradley last night, I was surprised how "straight up" his posture was in dribbling over the half court line...it reminded me of the way Leon Powe used to run up the court with that extremely odd gait of his.

Pressey was leaning forward, ball close to the floor.

It probably means nothing and maybe I'm just having a brain cramp, but has Bradley always been like that when he's moving the ball up the floor?

We haven't seen much of Brooks, but how was he ever considered a budding contributor a couple of years ago?! His shot selection is bad, his defense is worse, and there really isn't a redeeming factor for these two to be seen.

Pleased with Pressey, who wouldn't be after last night's late game surge?

It's hard for me to decide whom I dislike more, Brooks or Crawford... They both need to go.  I obviously agree that we need to send Bass and Lee to a more mature situation as well.  I'm looking forward to seeing Vitor play a bit more, way too early to even get excited w. any of these guys.

Was at the game. So much for Brook's homecoming. Brooks does not look like an athlete out there. He walks around with his hand on his hip. He looks soft and he plays soft. He is not Kobe. I cannot understand how someone with the opportunities he has been given can treat them so lightly.

Jeff Green is also infuriating. He has yet to attack the basket; but seems to still be shooting OK and did play some D.

Sullinger is so out of shape. Was shocking that someone with back issues would not try to control their weight more carefully. Again, they have one job that they get paid really well for.

Pressey, Faverani and Babb all looked solid.

Bradley is not a point guard; but played well if out of position.

Gerald Wallace will be a fan favorite before long. Love his energy. He and Carmelo were going at it pretty good.

Uhh...Sully didn't have back issues. Sully had back SURGERY. As in, major problems. This was not exactly "Hey Jared, take a couple Doan's pills, rub some dirt on it and we'll see you in the gym tomorrow". And then after the problems were corrected, for a significant period of time he did not leave his bed. And then for a while he could not leave his house. You're bound to get out of shape. He's about what he played at last year. Does he need to lose weight? Yes. But I don't know, you might consider cutting the kid some slack.
