Another night where Jeff Green shows up to get a check. Almost everyone outrebounded him. Both Avery and Marshon had twice as many rebounds. Almost everyone on the Timberwolves had as many or more rebs than him.  Rubio and K Mart had more. Turiaf had the same amount in less minutes. Corey Brewer, Dante Cunningham, and Derrick Williams all had double or more than Jeffy. He's just allergic to rebounds and gives up.

First of all Jeff does this every...single...game. Every single one. Also they aren't the ones making $9 mill that Perk was traded for. Sully was going up against Kevin love and Pek.....Jeffy was going up against Corey Brewer.

in completely brutal sarcasm i must say:

jeff is only playing mediocre because he's coming back from heart surgery (even though wilcox coming back from the same thing did well last season), and it's only the preseason (in which nearly every other celtic is playing their role better), and he's trying to find his role, and learn the sets on this newly coached team (along with rookies who are performing better than him).  although every stat suggests he's a bench player sucking the life out of this team with an overblown contract he isn't living up to, i don't really think the statistics and metrics account for how good he really is. we will see the real jeff green half way through the season, and he will prove everyone wrong, and he may make the all star game, and he may be one of the top five small forwards in the league, and.... is there anything else anyone wants to add??

I think it's just time to accept the fact that Jeff Green is a guy who will contribute some, but most often should not be expected to be better than a 4th or 5th option and probably should be an 8th or 9th man off the bench on the better teams. A marginal wing starter at best on a Lotto team that should not be expected to rebound or score on a nightly basis.

This all because of the lack of consistency, not the lack of talent.

Jeff looks lost....maybe it's because of the many different rotations that Brad Stevens has put on the floor. and I'm not saying that's a bad thing because BS has a lot of faces to look at.
It's got to be difficult for some of these guys, to play for a spot on the roster, and still shine while trying to play the greulling defense the Celtics employ.
With the right people on the floor, jeff green will shine but I think, right now, there's too many people looking out for themselves then worrying about getting green the ball.  all in all there's just a lot of different things going on out there.

On a completely different note....I do not like Courtney Lee, not even a little. I don't think he belongs on this team at all!!!  any thoughts???
