Currently i have Dish and live in Richamond VA, and i'm trying to figure out how to watch the Celtics this coming season.

If i get the multi-sports package it will give me Csnne which has the rights to air the Celtics games, but because of league pass and me being out of state, will they black the Csnne games out?

Anyone who has any knowledge on this, please help me out  8)

League Pass is just an aggregator of local feeds--so when you tune in to, say, Grizzlies/Kings, you're watching the Comcast Sports broadcast for either one of those teams.

CSSNE airs all the C's games that aren't on ESPN or TNT.

Of course, you should call your provider to double check.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

I have Dish multi-sport and I am unable to watch the out-of-region local sports events on Dish. For example it blacks out the C's on CSNNE (I live on the West Coast).

So, I have therefore purchased League Pass.

I get League Pass and the Sports Package (which included NBAtv) on Cable.  TNT and ESPN are also included in Cable, along with the major stations, so I get all the games.  (My cable company is BrightHouse, in Clearwater, FL.   I do not get Comcast, but can still get all the games.  Most of the games are on League Pass, which uses the broadcast of the home team, although sometimes a game will be on two League Pass stations, one with the home broadcast and one with the visitors broadcast.
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery.

One way to get the celtics game is through  nba league pass this year i believe the cost is $189.00 for the season. you can also get games on nba broadband starting at $49.00? (i think) you can go to nba.com for more info. In my opinion the best way to watch all the celtics home and away games with the celtics announcers (mike gorman and tommy heinson) is on nba league pass on directv  they carry dual feeds home and away games of all the games in HD on league pass while dish, comcast verizon fios ,and most cable companies only give you 1 feed of the game , so not all the games are in HD even when the celtics play on the road you get mike & tommy or whoever is doing the road telecast with mike!.
