Why not make Courtney Lee and Keith Bogans our PG stand ins until Help Me Rondo returns.

TWill was okay last season, I would like it to be him over Telfair. Telfair isn't that bad though, on second thought... the real reason I don't want him is b/c he would probably get the nod over anyone else for PG if RR is out. I want to see Pressey get the time and to see how the guys, like AB, have improved.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I think twill had it tough....as a backup 2....you don't see much time..and when you do get in, you are cold....only Ray Allen can come in cold and get hot on 3 shots....I saqw a lot of good from twill in limited time....wade and LeBron hated him..and that is BIG...! I think this new guy will try many options, and hold a lot of practice....I hope twill at least gets somewhere....!!!

I could be wrong, but I seem to remember Telfair being less than an effective defensive PG during his time here. I also remember him having trouble getting the team into the correct offensive set and ending up with a lot of at the buzzer chuck it up shots.

The guy made his rep on being a flashy one on one player prior to getting to the NBA and never was able to translate it to the NBA game. I am not sure he is good enough to start on a D league team. He was possibly one of the worst trade acquisitions by Danny Ainge (ever) IMO.

Much rather see the PG minutes go to Pressey/Lee till RR is back.

I'd like the idea of bringing an experienced PG into training camp with a non-guaranteed contract.  Using Lee/Bogans is an option but I don't think the team should be locked into that option.  It's just one idea that should be evaluated and compared to other ideas.  The sooner Rondo is projected to come back, the more attractive it is.

I'd be fine with that because I'd prefer to see the Celtics get a chance at a very high lottery pick but this would be disastrous.  Neither of those guys can dribble all that competently nor do they even possess a fraction of the passing ability to be even fourth-string points.  Actually, if the perimeter players went Green, Bradley and either Bogans or Lee, it would be the worst ballhandling starting unit of all time since players started to be capable of dribbling with either hand when color came to TV.  If the bigs went Sullinger and Olynyk, they might be the two best ballhandlers in the starting unit.
