Watch for the one card to be thrown into the side of the drum, folding the corner. You can also see Stern giving a big exhale before he draws out the card.

ALL the Drafts have the Ability and Opportunity to be Rigged----I ask everyone here....Why do they SWITCH the Balls, right before the ACTUAL drawing-?
They do a Practice Drawing first---what's WRONG with those Balls--?....Nothing, but yet--they bring in a LOCKED case, with New (Weighted-?) Balls....C'mon.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

If the outcomes of a number of the drafts hadn't come into question, this wouldn't even be a topic.

It would also help if people got to observe the process more publicly and were more involved in it

all just a business scheme. Who gets to draft #1 with the potential to be a superstar. In my opinion, you can get the #1, but the club still gotta choose the right candidate. See Portland with Greg Oden and Washington with Kwame Brown. They both got screwed over hard.

I remember a few threads back, some people were saying, instead of taxing the teams that are trying to win, why not tax the teams who are tanking on purpose to get the #1.

In my opinion, I wanted the NBA to adopt the NFL drafting process. Though I think the teams would abuse it more than use it correctly. Like the Bobcats, would probably tank a few seasons to get multiple #1s.
