am i the only one that thinks this kid has legit potential?

I think at some point, he will be an NBA player.  A role player.  But last time I saw him, he definitely looked like a ways away.  And there are just so many guys around with similar skillsets.

He is just not the type of player you hold onto.  You let him go and improve, and then you sign him to a vet minimum deal, once his game has matured enough to be able to help your team.

I feel bad for him. If anyone remembers, he was said to have a suspect work ethic or some type of problem like that. That has to be the reason we don't want him and really no many other teams either. He has never had much court time but when he has played he hasn't been terrible, he played very well in the DLeague. It must be something like work ethic that's holding him back.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I wouldn't give it that much thought.  It's a simple numbers game.  They had too many guys under contract, and his contract was non-guaranteed.  He also plays the position that they have the most NBA quality depth at the moment (Green, Wallace, Bogans, Lee, Bradley, Crawford, Brooks).  So, it would have made no sense to keep him.
