I think Bargnani will start at forward alongside C.Anthony with Artest as first forward off the bench. Amare as main backup big. Prigioni and JR Smith as reserve guards. 9 deep. Good lineup versatility.

Right now, they have no interior defense when Tyson Chandler heads to the bench so a defensive orientated big would finish off their roster nicely.

A return of Kenyon Martin would fit the bill.

So much for Wallace/Humphries for Amar'e...we are going to have to figure out some more creative trades for our new fan faves...
Deal never made sense anyway. Amar'e has the worse contract and has become less productive than the other 2.

knicks become better sure. but i dont see their seed changing. i still peg them as #5 wit miami, brooooookyln, indiana, and chicago above them (in no particular order).

the knicks lost cope, added tim hardaway jr.,bargnani, and now mwp. those arent players that i think will take the knicks over the top. i still see them as first round exits.

So Bargs and MWP are going to propel the Knicks to the finals?  I'm looking forward to their elimination in the 2nd round... again.

Second round?  Which one of the top 4 teams do you think they can upset in the first?  Miami, Brooklyn, Chicago or Indiana?

Good question actually.  The answer is probably none of the above if D.Rose is healthy.  So first round it is.
