Dallas rookie PG Shane Larkin is out2-3 months with a broken ankle. Hopefully he be okay but might be awhile before he comes back. Broken ankle is rough to heal from esp. being a PG..tough "break" for the kid

With Jose Calderon and Devin Harris at PG, he can take his time coming back..no rush

Probably will miss maybe the first month of the season. So if its going to happen, good thing now and not during training camp.

Tough break(no pun intended) for the kid. Tough way to start the rookie season.

"A toe injury has prompted the Mavericks to scrap their agreement to sign Devin Harris to a three-year, $9MM deal, tweets Marc Stein of ESPN.com. Dallas remains interested in signing him, but the surgery required is expected to keep Harris out until the start of the regular season, according to Stein (Twitter link). First-round pick and fellow point guard Shane Larkin suffered a broken ankle in summer league practice, as Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports notes via Twitter, so it's possible the pair of injuries prompted the Mavs to call off their plans with Harris."
