If it's any consolation, a rotation of Fab and Vitor at Center almost guarantees a good lottery position.

I think it is not completely impossible for Faverani to end up as the best first-year center in the NBA this season.

That is the current roster. We own the rights to Iverson but he has not signed. We signed Lamont Jones to a contract but it is not expected he makes the team. Vitor Faverani is rumored to sign a 3 year deal but still hasn't. The Celtics have a cap hold on them due to Chris Wilcox but he is not signed to the team.

I didn't realize MoMo Jones was still even associated with us.  Figured when he wasn't on the summer league team, that was it.

I imagine if Iverson is really headed overseas, we're definitely getting this Faverani guy.  I don't expect Randolph back, and I think Danny will find a trade of some kind for either Lee or Bass, and either Brooks or Crawford, before the season begins.  Wilcox is almost certainly gone.

I don't expect us to start the season with 15 guys on the roster.

Every roster is pretty impressive in August. Last year we were so excited about Jason Terry and Lee, Bass was finally becoming the player we were all needed. Wilcox and Green were going to be superstars...

My gut tells me this team will be abysmal but fun to follow. I will enjoy watching guys like Fab Melo and KO develop. I think it will be a fun year but my win expectations are very very low
