Are we really keeping Wallace and Humphries?  I think we are better off trading everyone away if possible, except Rondo, Green, Brooks, Bradley and Sully.  Keep them 5 under contract in hopes of clearing cap space for 2014. Keep Rondo out next year as long as possible in hopes we have a worse enough record to maybe get a top 5 pick for the draft.  Then come back 2014 with the top 5 draft pick, Andrew Wiggins would be great but we won't land the #1 spot.  Then sign a big name free agent or 2, whoever they may be alongside the draft pick, add in Green and Rondo and we may be set for the next 5 years. Thoughts?

Who do you propose to take Gerald Wallace's contract? This is all well and good in theory but the Lakers are the ones doing serious tanking this year for the #1 pick and Lebron James in 2014.

I think Bass, Melo, Crawford, Randolph, White and picks can be packaged to trade to take back a contract another team might want to dump.

I wonder if that would be something the Pelicans would consider to get out of Gordon's contract.  They have signed an awful lot of guards which leads me to believe Gordon is getting traded.

Thats almost setting us up for a playoff run. Eric Gordon can ball forreal, and with the players we have now the starting line up is actually viable. We should keep Melo though, we knew it'd be a 2-3 year project and i can already see major growth from last year. Crawford yes, Bass yes for sure. Dump them.
