I would really like the Celtics to acquire Mozgov. He showed that he can play but hasn´t seen many minutes in Denver. The Celtics roster lacks a true Center, he is 26 years old and could develop into a nice contributor. I guess he would be happy with playing something like 24 mins / game so there would be enough playing time for Sully and KO. The Nuggets traded Koufas at Draftnight but just signed Hickson. Their current depth chart looks something like this:

Lawson/Miller
Founier
Gallinari/Chandler/Hamilton
Farried/Randolph/Arthur/Miller
McGee/Hickson

Their Frontcourt is allready stacked and Mozgov is surely looking to increase his playing time. I think the Nuggets would be interested to add a guard to their rotation, while the celtics are lacking a true center. Maybe they would be interested in Lee or we could make a 3-team-trade where we send bass somewhere and a guard from that team goes to denver? What do you think about getting Mozgov and how it could be done?

the Nuggets fired George Karl for playing Kosta Koufos over Javale McGee and Mozgov, traded Koufos on draft day, and are reportedly negotiating to give Mozgov a long-term deal.  He is a restricted free agent.

The way to go about getting Mozgov is to be able to threaten to sign him to an offer sheet so big that Denver wouldn't match.

And that doesn't seem to be in the C's cards for this year.

I totally agree that the C´s are not going to have the money to get him through Free Agency. Was more thinking of a S&T. With the signing of Hickson they are close to the cap. I could imagine that they would be willing to give up Mozgov for a solid guard, as I was thinking, that could be a bigger need for them...
