I'm probably one of the biggest Josh Smith haters on the board. His athleticism, versatility, and defense is enticing, no doubt. However, he has extremely poor basketball IQ, and insists on shooting mid-range and perimeter shots despite being awful at them. In 9 years in the NBA, he hasn't demonstrated the best work ethic or attitude, either. In short, he just doesn't scream of a winning player to me.
However, some here are just so infatuated with him and reports continue to say how Boston is interested. Despite my despise of him, if we could nab him for the right price, it could be a worthwhile gamble. However, what is Josh Smith's "right price"? I want to hear your thoughts on this.
Personally, I would not spend any more than $12M for him.
