I thought he sorta implied that the ravens did it right and the pats did it wrong and I so so soooooo disagree. Yes, we all realize that Aaron could have said he was innocent and could have pulled a Ray a cut a deal to point the finger at the other guys. Yeah we know. If he gets out I hope the ravens sign him.

Or perhaps the good old days when this stuff was kept under PR lock and key?

If the guy can play football, he can play football.

If he murdered a guy, he should be in jail.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

I didn't get that take, I think he was implying that the Patriots reacted the way they did because they believe Hernandez is guilty while Baltimore believed Lewis was innocent.

Or more likely because baltimore knew there was less direct evidence.

That's how I read it too.

But I'm calling bullEdited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. on that one. There was some very strong circumstantial evidence that Ray was involved. The way Billick is putting it is as if Ray was just caught up in everything and didn't have anything to do with it, but in reality it was pretty obvious Ray played a part in the whole thing.

They kept Ray because they thought that there was a strong chance he would get off, not because they thought he was innocent.
