I for one dont want to have KG and Pierce back just so we can get bounced in the first round again. I'd rather be a low lottery team and get a high pi9ck in 2014. Anyone else feel this way? With the KG/Doc deal apparently dead I am irked beyond belief.

Just let it go already Ainge its over.

Now that the Clippers deal is dead, I've got a feeling Doc, KG and Paul are all coming back next year.

As you have seen over the past week, blowing it up is easier said than done.

patience

the old core is most likely on the way out....... it's just a matter of shopping around and getting the most bang for buck. ........gather up picks and asset....... see what we have an d hire. coach to fit the team as it re organizes or rebuilds.....

the level of coach may indicate length of the rebuild or a possible further gutting of more than the oldies an doc.

I like to see a lot more guys leave his team myself......aka...Jet and Lee to name two.

Seeing Who we pick up in the draft , may give further indications of the extent of the rebuild ....or if goes to ground Zero......and starts over with trades involving Our good younger players.

I think avoiding that mess with Clippers is a good thing for both teams actually in the long run.......I look for mor meaningful trades to happen now.

Didnt LA offer DJ and a pick for KG? What is wrong with doing that trade? What would you get that is better than that. It's like danny is holding out for some amazing thing that will never come.

They were going to do that deal but the NBA didn't allow it.

Danny is trying to blow it up for the high flyer Deandre but the NBA doesnt want the celtics to trade coaches or whatever...

We're probably still going to blow it up, i dont think danny believes the core can contend.

Rondo -Bradley - Green - Sully - ________

The hope is still to get deandre in that slot.

I will still be ok with everyone coming back but with Pierce coming off the bench. If we rolled with

Rondo
AB
Green
Bass
KG

Then i am ok with that. Healthy I think we go to the ECF. But the key is staying healthy. If the right deals are there then make them. Blow it up.

I was ready to move on with the re-build but that looks like that may be getting postponed. Till then we shall see.

It was blown up last year when Rondo got hurt.

This is Rondo's team. If you want Ainge to continue with the team's destruction he needs to trade Rondo for Brandon Jennings.
