I'd be ok with it. And wouldn't rule it out. You never know with these stars.

Agreed. Doc going to the Clippers doesn't guarantee CP3 re-signs. He has a lot of options. Dwight Howard is still a possibility, and we all know these two want to team up.

I'm hoping us Celtics fans stick with the team through ups and downs, and here's to Fun / Unpredictable 2013 - 14 season!

I know I'll be watching!

Too bad we won't be on national television like ESPN or TNT too much next season  :(

If Steven A Smith would keep his claws off us I'd be happy.

Read on the front page that KG to the Clippers this year won't make it through the league office.

I don't buy that.  Give it a few days to simmer.  They just want to avoid having the appearance of it being one deal.  They can't force two teams not to trade with each other.  Thats nonsense.  Smart money is on KG going to Clips eventually... even if it's closer to the start of the season.

The internet is a beautiful thing. You can watch any NBA game on the internet. Live Stream ;)

I could care less about being on national TV. As long as I get to see my Celtics play :)

If I were Stern, I would block a deal at least until after the July moratorium, which means after the draft and after the guarantee deadline for Pierce's contract.  I'd probably make the Clippers fill out their roster before being allowed to revisit the deal.

But you lose the joy of whining about how the Celtics are disrespected by various national announcers.

Chris Paul bolts, KG can`t come over thanks to Stern, Blake Griffin decides he`s not gonna be left holding the baby and demands to get traded out of LA, and boom Doc Rivers is looking at the kind of rebuild he was allegedly running away from when he left the Celtics.

Don't hate Doc for it. If he really wanted to, he could have left for a 2nd round pick.

He could even leave for a broadcasting job.

I'm not exactly sure how the non-compete clause works but when his contract's up in 3(?) years I'm sure he could easily latch on to a contender.

This is such a win.

And, yes, it'd be a home run if they suck...2015 1st pick goes to the Celts!

To tell you the truth I`d actually be sad for Doc if that scenario played out the way I`ve described. As for the Clippers I don`t particularly feel one way or the other about them, unless they happen to be interfering with the Lakers` hopes of getting a Banner 17.
