Spurs in 6.

They can handle the Heat's pressure better than anyone else Miami has faced.  Manu is going to be a key player in this series.  He needs to be able to be that third guy who can put pressure on the Heat's defense.

Makes me sick to think about, but Heat in 6. They showed that when they feel like playing, no one is going to beat them. And Lebron will not allow them to lose.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Heat in 5 or 6.
Spurs have a balanced attack but theyll need Duncan and Parker to play out of their minds to win 4 out of 7 while Heat have HCA. Miami had the rim protection to keep Lebron second guessing his drives but Duncan and Splitter wont have the same effect.
Parker and Duncan need Co MVP of the series.
Timmy.may abuse them on the offensive end, we'll see how Popovic plans to attack them.

I think it'll actually come to down San Antonio's "others" if they move the ball like we know they do and break down the Heats defense, their shooters can light it up. I'd like to see Miami try and double/trap the Spurs its not going to be Lance Stephenson and Sam Young were talking about the Spurs shooters will make you pay for that. They will not beat themselves ether like Indiana did with all the turnovers and not being prepared for the double teams.

My heart says Spurs in 6. But realistically, Heat in 6.

Bosh will work Splitter around. Duncan will shut down Haslem. Duncan will have to take on LeBron James a little when he goes PF. Kawhi Leonard is not Paul George...James should be able to get past him but he'll have to work his way through.

Parker will torch Mario Chalmers. If Dwyane Wade puts up another performance like Game 7, then he will make sure Danny Green works hard.

And then you have the Heat bench to worry about. Will Shane Battier finally be useful again? Will Ray Allen go on another 3-point killing spree? We shall find out!

Objectively spurs in 5 or 6.
When Pop said before the game "48 minutes, execution" they just mean it almost perfectly.
Lebron can't win by itself.

I got Spurs in 6. Heat haven't lost 2 in a row since February I think and that "streak" will end too against these Spurs. Spurs are one of tha best road teams (as well as home) if not the best. Heat will host tha first 2 games and tha Spurs will come away with one of them and go back to San Antone and win at least 2 there. Don't be surprised if tha Spurs go up 3-1 in 4 games. We've seen that LeBron isn't as super human as advertised. He can't do it by himself.

I worry about tha long rest tha Spurs have had but I don't think it will effect them much or for long considering tha energy Miami expended to get past Indy. Tha Spurs have tha extra tools tha Pacers didn't to get past tha Heat. They have better shooting, depth, and versatility. They also have an advantage at tha point to go along with great execution and with Tony Parker playing out of his mind I'm not sure if Miami can handle what all tha Spurs will bring. Tha Spurs are just a different beast and I don't think Spoelstra can compete with Gregg Popovich either.

So again, I have tha Spurs in 6.

Exactly four weeks ago I called the finals result as the Spurs defeating Miami in 7 games, which remains my prediction.

TP on the prediction!

Even though I picked the Heat in 5, I believe a 7 gamer is likely. I know Stern would love to go out on a double overtime game 7 Championship. In fact, I think Stern has already passed the word to Joey Crawford.

Bank on it!
