Lets say Danny still wants to blow up the team after the clippers trade falls through.

KG no longer wants to go to LA because Doc isn't going there

Any chance he could talk KG into waiving his no trade clause to go to the Spurs?

Hypothetically ,The Spurs would be willing to do a trade of Tiago Splitter and a 1st for KG . Would you be willing to accept it .

How amazing would it be to see KG and Duncan playing side by side to end their careers ?

He would be playing for a well respected coach , no state income tax .

Any chance it could happen?

With the noted mutual dislike between KG and Timmy, I can't see it happening.

I believe so, yes.

That said, I am still very skeptical that San Antonio would be willing to give up Tiago Splitter for a 37 year old Kevin Garnett. Splitter + 1st, even more skeptical.

I think that is overstated. One of those things the media like to take, run with it and blow it all out of proportion. Sensationalize everything.

I believe there is a lot of mutual respect there and that they would be quite happy about getting the chance to play alongside one another.

I doubt the Spurs would give up one of their nice young players for a chance to pair two 37/38 year olds in the front court.

Duncan needs to play next a guy who is younger and more energetic, anyway.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

The Spurs were suitors for KG during last year's FA... so any rumored feud with Duncan is overstated.

The issue is that KG isn't considering any team that doesn't have Doc Rivers as the Head Coach.

People are complaining about the KG-Jordan trade, but are open to a Splitter trade (and there's even doubt that the Spurs would consider it when Splitter's RFA offer is coming up).

I though KG absolutely detested Duncan?
