Once Pierce is traded or bought out, the next step of the off-season will be getting rid of Terry and either Lee or Bass (ideally both).

However, it's hard right now to think of many options for dumping these guys.

Best idea I've heard is Courtney Lee straight up for Luke Ridnour.  Makes sense for both teams.

Terry?  I really don't know.  It'd have to be a team that fancies itself a contender.  Maybe the Nets, somehow?

I agree, if we're going to keep one of them, I'd prefer Lee.  The problem is he's the most tradeable.

See if Memphis will absorb one of them with their trade exception.  Maybe throw in a second rounder or two.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

As much as I love Terry I would rather part with him ans/or Bass than I would Lee.

This is the deal that I think makes the most sense. We send Lee to Memphis along with a 2nd round pick for their trade exception.

We then take that trade exception, one, two or all three of our China guys (possibly one of the Clippers future firsts or a second rounder) to the Rockets for Thomas Robinson.

Houston has been looking to clear cap space so they can attempt to sign Howard and if KG goes to LAC, I don't see there being a chance they can net Howard so the Rockets' chances are pretty good. They've been noted as willing to move TRob for cap space and here they get a trade exception plus some non-guaranteed contract.

Memphis could really use some help at SG (especially if Tony Allen leaves), Lee makes a lot of sense for them.

The Celtics pick up last year's 5th overall pick (who hasn't looked great, but has talent). He'd fit in great with our rebuilding efforts. His game doesn't match up all that well with Sully's, unless Sully intends to move out towards the elbow, but since we are rebuilding it doesn't really matter.

Terry to the Pacers for Mahinmi, would be a deal i'd consider. We save one million annually get a back up center who is fairly young and not that expensive.

Indiana gets a thee point thread for their bench.
