I think the next thing is to move out all our middle of the road contracts: Bass, Terry and Lee, for young players or late picks. They are of no real use to a rebuilding squad. We might as well take some chances on young guys and hope they develop into something useful.
Ideally I would like to move Terry or Lee (more likely Lee) to the Grizzlies for their trade exception and turn around and send that to the Rockets with a second round pick (or potentially one of the late first rounders we get from LAC) for Thomas Robinson.

I really hope Danny can do the LAC deal with just KG and Terry and then find a team willing to trade for Pierce and waive him for the cap savings and then he can proceed to sign with LAC for vet. minimum or MLE.
I think that would work best for them because they won't be taking on too much salary and complicating things, and we can probably get a decent asset/pick from the team waiving Pierce in exchange for the cap room they get.
From there we should try to find a landing spot for Bass (I think Denver makes sense as a destination but not sure if there is any interest).
Thats a pretty young and talented roster and we can make more moves towards the trade deadline when teams get desperate.
