Lebron struggling with his shot

I think its a combination of playing some of the best defenses in the league, his supporting players being non existant, playoff game planning, fatigue from carrying the team the entire season, having a ridiculously high fg % during season and playoff basketball where those fastbreak easy buckets are harder to come by.

Lebron's shot is suspect.  The hole in his game that separates him from other start in the league is he can't score from anywhere at any time.  His game is going to the hole and finishing at the rim, then once he's in rhythm, his jumper starts to fall. 

Everyone continues to jock Lebron but the guys game is flawed, and the Spurs, and to a lesser extent the Pacers, have exposed what I've been saying for years!  Durant, Kobe, Pierce, Dirk, KG, DRose all have  better mid-range, back to the basket, and 3 point shots than Lebron.

Look for him to drive into traffic every time he gets the ball in the first quarter tomorrow night.

Earlier in his career I would have agreed with you.  However, this year he shot 40% from 3PT, and 57% overall.  Those are ridiculous numbers.

He's still pretty weak from 10-to-16 feet, but on short 2s, long 2s, and 3s, Lebron has developed a complete game.

Durant, Kobe, Pierce, Dirk, KG, DRose all have  better mid-range, back to the basket, and 3 point shots than Lebron.

At least in terms of 3 pointers, Durant is the only one on that list who both shot a higher 3PT% than Lebron and made more threes than him per game.

His shot has improved over the years I think.  The thing is his FG% is somewhat inflated by dunks.  But he has developed his shot over time and his mid range.

He has cracked under the spotlight before against us maybe Bad LeBron will make a comeback.  ( when I say cracked take it with a grain of salt, he is still incredibly productive, even when he has a bad game)  But I seen him wilt under pressure in  2008 and 2009 against us a few games.   I felt this was behind him though.  He will get blamed even when they lose and he has a triple double.  But it could not happen to a nicer guy, with a smaller ego.
