Wrong.
Danny wanted Rajon, he saw the potential. He made the move to get it done.

For all the Danny haters out there, just sip a little bit of the Haterade and sit back. Paid the salary of Brian Grant and got an All Star.

What's funny is Chad Ford's analysis. He's basically nailed it 100% with Rondo's pro career lol.

I remember desperately wanting Danny to take Sergio "Spanish Chocolate" Rodriquez as our point guard for the future back in 2006.

When he took Rajon Rondo through that deal with Phoenix, I was like "what the heck is Danny doing taking a 6'1" defensive specialist who can't shoot." 

I'm glad Danny Ainge is the GM of the Boston Celtics instead of me.
