so what happens to a pick if a team like the Hawks loses it for tampering? Is the first round then just 29 picks and the 1st pick of the 2nd round the 30th pick? Does that then make the 30th pick's contract a 2nd round contract?

Barring any team sanctions or penalties coming from these oversight, if they end up getting CP3 and Dwight, is the possibility of Doc coaching the Hawks not far behind? He played his best years with them.

What I really don't understand in all of this, is how the Atlanta management thought they could get away with it.  Did they really think nobody would notice, or are they just so incompetent they didn't realize this was against the rules?
