i'm sorry...i can't take it anymore...i know this is another post in the endless stream of Pierce/KG/rebuild/blow it up posts...

first...if the Capt goes...we can probably kiss KG good bye...

more to the point...pragmatically speaking...this is the fundamental core and crux to this whole situation that people seem to keep avoiding...we are going to sell high and the buyers are going to buy low...the goal of other teams is to improve themselves...not us...do you really think other teams care if we improve...get real...do you really think we are going to get equal value for Pierce...no way...do you really think that DA is going to pull a rabbit out of his hat and pull the wool over some other GM's eyes and get some superstar or some young stud...seriously...what kind of kool aid is that...and...i'm a green kool-aid drinker...and...that's putting aside all the sentimental feelings...i've said this before...trading Pierce or buying him out is a lateral move at best...

bring back the Capt and KG and let there money come off the books naturally...then...rebuild...

so my point again is...what's the rush to head into rebuilding purgatory...so we can start one year early...is everyone that impatient...are DA and Wyc that impatient...

i'm out...

The rush is to get pretty bad sooner so we can dip into the draft well, hopefully get some franchise talents like OKC has been doing.

But drafting players are never a sure thing.

I also am in no rush to return to the cellar.

Hopefully we get a real honest shot to try and contend next year with a healthy roster. What transpired this past season wasn't a real fair shake.

Easy to say when your not the one paying the luxury tax for a non-contender going no where fast. The rush is making the rebuild as short as possible. The rush is taking advantage of the loaded 2013 draft or the trade able assets you can gain from a trade. I'd like to make the transitional phase this team is going to have to go through as quick as possible.
