Looks like Thibs is carrying on the Boston conspiracy tradition in fine fashion.

Here's an article about it:

Thanks for the article. Although I fully agree with Thibs and the Bulls, it's kind of ironic for the bulls to now face the type of favoritism that they benefited from for so long for Jordan. They sure know what it looks like, they did see it long enough back then to recognize it.

At this point, I think Thibs is just being dumb and wasting money. We all know saying that stuff is gonna result in a fine, he's just being stubborn and wasting $$$, funding SterNBA

Even the Celtics "hate" didn't go this far:

Quote
Chicago holds pure hatred in its heart for the Heat, and sometimes Miami must grudgingly match it.

"We really dislike each other," Taj Gibson said. "And it shows on the court."

When the two teams walked out for the Game 3 opening tip, something happened that you almost never see in the NBA: no fist bumps, no handshakes, no phony half-hugs. Nothing.

I told my dad this yesterday. I thought the Celtics hated the Heat... boy was I wrong because the Bulls despise them.

I don't remember hearing about him calling out the officiating, but I do remember him saying LeBron flopped.  Everyone thinks he did (well except Miami fans) heck Van Gundy even said he flopped on the play where Nazr pushed him.

it wouldnt Fit stern's agenda to have "the King" get beat by an undermanned bull's team playing without right now pretty much any "superstars" and just on pure effort

any team who plays Miami is playing 5 on 8 because suddenly you arent getting any calls while phantom calls are getting called on the other end.

its what I dislike strongly about the NBA...the blatant bias/favoritism towards certain teams/players

on the one hand, what thibs said was definitely going to result in a fine. on the other hand, its hard to not say this series (like most miami series against good teams) has been a travesty re: the refereeing. its bad enough the bulls have played without an mvp, but they've also had their best player (deng) out of action, along with a key reserve in hinrich, and noah is clearly injured. even with that, miami gets every call. its a joke. miami has gotten every break re: injuries this year. thibs is right to complain...he's working like crazy just to deal with the injuries, and then has to still play 5 on 8. i hope the bulls don't back down re: hard fouls.

I have no sympathy for the Bulls front office and Thibs when it comes to their perennially injured players--they're always pushing guys to come back when it's completely inappropriate to do so.

Remember Asik's broken leg? Deng's stress fracture? Playing through things like that aren't examples of "being a man," "being a competitor" or anything other than "being lied to by the team doctors because the ownership doesn't care about you as people."
