http://www.bostonsportstoday.net/18/post/2013/05/report-paul-pierce-may-be-finished-with-celtics.html

"Paul Pierce's days with the only team he's ever played for in his storied 15-year NBA career may be numbered. According to a report from Greg Dickerson of Comcast SportsNet New England, the longtime Boston Celtics' captain has likely played his final game with the 17-time champions."

"Talked to some close to Paul, they are certain he's played his last game as a Celtic.  Their quote, all good things must come to an end.

I think there was a thread started about this already. It might even be about 5 pages long now.

As much as kg and Paul love the celts, you have to wonder if seeing how ray will be able to extend his career, take less of a burden, and potentially win another title has changed their perspective in playing for another contender as their careers winds down and not having to take the majority of the burden.

Probably more so Paul, than kg, based on several of Paul's recent comments.  It's interesting, most think this off season hinges on kg, but I think Paul is the domino that will cause the rest to drop since he is the one that could be bought out.

I would not surprised to see either  guy go to Chicago or the clips.

If so, I' will miss them both, and have a couple of new teams to root for. After the celtics of course.

I've done the same thing dozens of times. I am sure the mods will just merge the threads.
