Very sweet message, and while I think it involved a tiny bit of coaching, she was certainly sincere. I personally wouldn't let my own child of similar age get that emotionally involved with a sports team, (or at least not encourage it), but I guess that's a parental decision. If they see it, I'm sure KG and Paul will be touched by it ... how could they not be? Hope she got a big hug or two after the camera stopped rolling.

Thanks for the input guys not sure if you are parents or not. Nonetheless, Ill share the story quickly about how this went down.

I have been wanting her FOR YEARS to watch games with me, and this year she finally started watching and i didnt have to ask her to, just wanted to. Her favorite player is actually Avery Bradley.

She actually didnt finish the game and when we cut it to 4, she told me we would win. She went upstairs, only for me to break the news that they lost.

She lost it. Like the way i thought I would lose it. She definetely took it harder than me.

Truth be told, it was sincere, i only told her to tell pierce and kg what she would say to them in hopes they may see it some day as I promised to take her to a live game and didnt fullfil my side of the bargain.

Anyways, im glad shes already bleeding green. Plus, she cant STAND the lakers.

God bless her ... you got a sweetie right there, (I've got a couple of my own).

Kids often reflect what their mommies and daddies go through, and she grew to love these guys along with you, and see your level of emotional involvement.

Hope you don't think I was being judgmental, cuz her sincerity is clear.

I can tell you've got a great connection with her, and that she'll be a C;s fan for life, (like my folks passed to me, and I to mine).

My "baby" (youngest daughter) and I still go to the Garden at least once a year as a tradition we started when she wasn't much older.

Wouldn't change that connection for the world, even tho she's four states away and 24 now ... still my sweetie, too.

You're a lucky and blessed man ... and she's got a great daddy.

When my daughter was about 3 she loved the Gummy Bear song and video, so we did a video of a finger monster dancing in front of the Gummy Bear video.  My kids face was not in the video but I explained that it was a little little kid's idea.  Some of the stuff people said was crazy!  It's as though it actually upset them that they were forced to watch it!
