Which player in the current Celtics team would Red Auerbach have liked the most?

Which player do you think he would have liked/appreciated the most on this team?

KG? Pierce? Rondo?

I say the Big 3 because their attitudes are to win and nothing but to win.

Anyone else? Sully? Melo? Crawford? Bass?

KG. No doubt.

KG would be his Russell, Rondo his Cousy. Pierce would probably be like Paul Pierce to Red, since they knew each other.

KG without question.  No contest.  He absolutely embodies Celtic Pride and he is almost singularly responsible for the culture that has been embedded in this team since 2007.  That's why I'm glad he's going to retire a Celtic... I want him to be a part of this organization in some capacity long after he retires. 

There's a lot to like about Pierce and Rondo as well, of course... but KG would absolutely be the favorite.  Just like KG is most certainly Doc's favorite.  He's everything to this team.

Rondo is so similar to larry bird in he playoffs in terms of passing, hustle, and effort.

 eh. It's almost obviously kg unless you think deeper and realize he saw pierce drafted, loved him and would be very proud of what he turned into ...and how would he not love rondo.
