Lakers just announced Steve Blake (hamstring) out indefinitely and Steve Nash (hip/hamstring) & Jodie Meeks (ankle) doubtful for Game 3
  :o

Safe to say the Lakers have won the title for most injuries at the worst time.

Who are their guards now?  Darius Morris, Andrew Goudelock...who am I missing?  Do they have to move MWP to the 2?

EDIT:  I guess Chris Duhon is still alive.  This might be the worst backcourt ever in a playoff game.

I was just trying to think who they had..their starters are pretty much going to be the bench too.

Ouch.  I imagine it'll be Morris and Goudelock platooning the point duties and Clark and MWP seeing some time at the 2 (with Jamison moving to the 3).

2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

SG: Kobe Bryant

Crazy that MWP will have to play SG and C in the same season. Not the guy who I'd peg doing that.

Like any team undermanned and a heavy underdog, the remaining Lakers will work their butts off -- at least in the first half.   If SA can shut them down quickly, this will be an easy win.  But, if they hang in, adrenalin will be in the Lakers favor.  SA shouldn't (and won't) let their guard down -- they should come out with foot on the throat intensity.

Best day of the year is when the Lakers are out of it (unless C's are winning).  Hope it's soon.

Don't call them the Fakers for nothing.

Actually Kobe's injury is pretty serious. Could impact his play big time.

I don't get it? What does them getting injured have to do with them being called the Fakers? Are you suggesting they're throwing play-off games?
