If he stayed in Boston. Said would have been at the finish line...

Noted that a family friend lost a leg that awful day.

Kind of crazy to think about  :o :-[

 is it documented anywhere how many people had limbs amputated? i continue hearing the stories and it seems to add up to more people

Interesting.
But also, it doesn't imply he would have been at the finish line when the bombs went off. There are so many runners that they are scheduled to start at different times during the day. And we srent talking a few minutes different as in smaller races. We are talking hours apart. Someone wanting to see a friend finish would first find out what time they are scheduled to start, then track their progress on line, then make their way to the finish. I've done this a couple times.

I think around 15 were dismembered
