With Kobe, Faried, etc. getting hurt right before the playoffs, I think it is time to stop giving the Heat crap for resting their players.

I haven't really seen many people giving them crap for resting their guys, except for the "why don't they fine them like they fined the Spurs??" false equivalency nonsense.  But I think most people understand that rest down the stretch is a standard part of the game now.

It is mighty frustrating for fantasy hoops, though.

I really have no problem with any team resting their players. Although Im trying to explain to my colleagues (both of which are laker fans btw) why it is ok for teams to rest their players.

i think people will always give them crap due to the hypocracy of the nba not fining them, the way they did the spurs.  personally, i think the coach is there to coach and always has the teams best interest, and if any team's coach thinks their star players needs rest, so be it.  the nba fining the spurs was a joke
